Fishing Upgrades & More Minecraft Mod
Fishing Upgrades & More is a Forge mod for Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 that turns fishing into a more rewarding activity. Catches can be assessed by a fisherman villager, then sold according to their rarity or processed for a chance at extra rewards. Four incompatible rod enchantments let players specialize in extra fish, valuable materials, meat, or junk, giving each fishing setup a distinct purpose.
The mod also expands several villager professions, including the cleric, farmer, and shepherd, with additional trades and useful outputs. These profession features are still a work in progress. On a Minecraft server, it adds a light economy and progression loop that our BoxToPlay team recommends for survival gameplay.
