Enchanted Vertical Slabs

Enchanted Vertical Slabs is a simple, vanilla style Minecraft mod that adds upright versions of every vanilla slab. Designed for builders who want finer control, it enables slimmer walls, pillars, trims, window frames, furniture, and more detailed façades without changing Minecraft’s familiar visual language. It supports Java Edition with Fabric, NeoForge, and Quilt, for both client and server play.

Each vertical slab is a separate item, crafted in a crafting table using the same pattern as a normal slab, rotated vertically. They can be combined like regular slabs, while selected stone variants support stonecutter recipes. Wooden versions burn and work as furnace fuel, and copper versions retain waxing and oxidation behavior. On our Minecraft server at BoxToPlay, this mod adds creative freedom with minimal gameplay disruption.
