DeathLog, a detailed record of every defeat

DeathLog is a Java Edition mod for Fabric and Quilt that records each death across single player worlds and Minecraft servers. It saves useful details such as coordinates, dimension, death message, server or world name, and the complete inventory snapshot carried at the moment of defeat. The mod works on the client, while optional server support can maintain a shared history for every player.

From the vanilla Statistics screen, a searchable interface helps find entries by item, location, message, or world. Death snapshots also support item recovery through creative mode or generated give commands. For our BoxToPlay audience, it adds a practical safety net to survival gameplay without changing the core challenge.
