Death Finder is a Minecraft mod for Java Edition that makes recovering dropped items much easier after an unexpected death. It places your exact death coordinates on the death screen and in chat, with the dimension and distance from the location when configured. Recovery compasses can also show the latest death point in their tooltip.

On a Minecraft server, operators may enable clickable teleporting with configurable permissions and time limits. The mod can also announce deaths involving pets, villagers, players, and named entities.
