Curious Lanterns, wearable light for your Minecraft server

Curious Lanterns is a Forge mod for Minecraft Java Edition that adds a dedicated hip slot through Curios, allowing supported lanterns to hang at your side instead of occupying your hand or off hand. Vanilla Lantern and Soul Lantern are supported, with compatibility for selected lantern additions and utility mods.

The mod focuses on convenience and atmosphere during mining, exploration, and nighttime travel. Optional swinging makes the lantern feel more natural as you move, while dynamic illumination comes from a separate lighting mod of your choice, not Curious Lanterns itself.
