CreeperRebalance is a server side mod for Minecraft Java Edition that prevents creeper explosions from breaking blocks, protecting bases, terrain, and carefully built structures without removing the threat of creepers. Their explosions still affect entities, preserving danger during survival gameplay.
To compensate for the lost terrain damage, the mod strengthens explosion knockback, with separate values for players and other entities, plus adjustable upward force and distance falloff. Griefing can also remain enabled if you only want stronger knockback. Compatible with Minecraft 1.20 to 1.20.1 on Forge and NeoForge, it works on a Minecraft server and in singleplayer. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a practical protection and gameplay rebalance.
