Canary, performance optimization for Forge
Canary is a Minecraft performance mod for Forge and an unofficial fork of Lithium. It improves general game efficiency by optimizing systems such as mob artificial intelligence, chunk loading, block ticking, and game physics, while aiming to preserve vanilla behavior. The result is smoother gameplay and more responsive worlds, especially in heavily modded environments.
Designed for both the client and server, Canary can also run on a Minecraft server without requiring every player to install it. Its configurable patches let you enable or disable selected optimizations when compatibility matters.
