Butchery, an immersive way to harvest mobs

Butchery is a Minecraft Java mod that transforms hunting and animal harvesting into a hands on process. Instead of receiving ordinary loot immediately, players can use a Butcher’s Knife or cleaver to obtain a corpse, while sheep also retain their wool. This adds a more deliberate rhythm to survival and combat.

Corpses can be hung from hooks to drain blood, skinned for leather, or cut on a butcher’s table for varied meat. Rotisseries, mincers, hammers, decorative blocks, configurable recipes, and compatibility with Farmers Delight deepen the system. On our Minecraft server, BoxToPlay helps bring this atmospheric gameplay to cooperative survival.
