Better Tridents is a Minecraft Java Edition mod that makes tridents more useful without changing their familiar identity. It adds a crafting recipe using three Elder Guardian fragments and prismarine shards, allows damaged tridents to be repaired in an anvil, and improves the Loyalty enchantment. Loyal tridents return to their original inventory slot, come back from the void, and bring nearby mob drops and experience with them.
Impaling also deals extra damage to any mob touching water or exposed to rain. Supporting Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge on both client and server, this practical upgrade fits naturally into survival gameplay. On a Minecraft server, BoxToPlay makes the experience easy to enjoy with friends.
