Better Climbing is a Minecraft mod that refines movement on ladders and other climbable blocks. Looking down lets you descend faster, while upward movement becomes quicker. Climbing speed also increases gradually over three seconds, and the mod removes the awkward bump that can occur when entering a ladder shaft.

It keeps movement fluid through vines and similar blocks, without the usual slowdown, and lets players jump while standing inside a climbable block.
