Aquaculture 2 is a Minecraft mod that expands fishing with more than 30 fish, including species linked to freshwater, arid, arctic, and ocean biomes. Fish can appear as catches or swim in rivers, ponds, and seas, making exploration more rewarding across vanilla and modded environments.

New rods support hooks, bait, lines, and bobbers, while the Tackle Box organizes equipment and modifiers. Catches can become fish fillets, and fishing may reveal special loot such as Neptunium gear, mounts, and useful items. On a Minecraft server, BoxToPlay makes this relaxed progression easy to enjoy with friends.
