Backrooms Next, also known as BackroomsMC, is a lightweight Fabric modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 that transforms the game into a found footage horror adventure. Built around Minecraft Backrooms Found Footage, it recreates unsettling liminal spaces, including Levels 0 through 2, the Poolrooms, and the Infinite Grass Field, with cinematic shaders and visual effects.

Designed for client and server play, it supports multiplayer exploration with Simple Voice Chat, making teamwork essential when facing darkness, strange events, and jump scares. Dependencies such as Veil and GeckoLib are already prepared, while the focused setup avoids unnecessary content.
