New in Town, The Settler’s Experience

New in Town is a story driven Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that turns survival into a settlement management adventure. Begin with a settler’s wagon, choose where to establish your town, and work with the Town Planner to place modular sites such as mines, lumber mills, a Wizard Tower, and a Bard’s College.

As your community grows, taxes, resource gathering, quests, research tasks, random events, and villager economy add purpose to everyday play. Nether forces launch increasingly dangerous attacks, leading to a climactic Wither confrontation and a counteroffensive where you build your own Nether Fortress. It supports solo play and multiplayer, making it a strong addition to a cooperative Minecraft server with BoxToPlay.
