Zombz, Deadlier Zombies for Your Minecraft Server

Zombz is a legacy Bukkit plugin that reshapes vanilla zombie gameplay for a harsher survival experience. Its configuration lets server owners adjust zombie damage, prevent zombies from burning in daylight, and apply blindness when players are hit, with the effect duration fully configurable.

The plugin can spawn zombie groups with adjustable or random sizes, create a zombie carrying a fallen player’s inventory, and reward configurable experience on death. Its multiworld support keeps the challenge limited to selected areas, while Only Zombies mode turns other spawned mobs into zombies. At BoxToPlay, we see Zombz as a compact option for a dedicated zombie themed Minecraft server, especially on older Bukkit versions.
