Structure in a Box is a historical Bukkit plugin for Java Edition that adds special items called SiBs, or Structures in a Box. When a player places one, it pastes a prepared MCEdit schematic through WorldEdit, transforming an ordinary chest into a base, vault, or other custom build. The structure can rotate according to the player’s facing direction, making placement feel natural.
Server teams can distribute SiBs through kits, control access with permissions, and configure size, cooldowns, item appearance, and placement rules. Free space and WorldGuard checks help prevent unwanted overlaps, while an undo command can recover the last placement. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a compact building utility for classic Bukkit gameplay, documented for Minecraft 1.7.4 and CraftBukkit 1.7.9.
