SexyMotd is a Bukkit and Spigot plugin that gives server owners detailed control over the message shown in Minecraft’s multiplayer screen. It supports colored MOTDs, multiple lines, randomized messages, custom variables, hover text, and dynamic information such as player counts, server version, player names, or server name.

The plugin can also customize the server icon, display avatar based imagery, adjust visible player limits, present a fake version, and create special modes such as maintenance or restricted access.
