MOTDColor, customize your Minecraft server list

MOTDColor is a lightweight Bukkit plugin for a Java Edition Minecraft server, created to customize the message displayed in the multiplayer server list. It accepts Minecraft style color and formatting codes, allowing administrators to create bold, italic, underlined, strikethrough, or colorful text that makes the server’s identity more visible before players connect.

The plugin provides commands for changing the MOTD, viewing available format codes, and reloading settings without stopping the server. It can also set a server icon from an image URL, uses permissions, and offers configurable event priority when another plugin manages the MOTD. BoxToPlay presents it as a simple, legacy focused customization tool, with documentation referencing CraftBukkit 1.7.2.
