GiftOfTheDay is a legacy Bukkit plugin that gives players a semi random gift when they make their first login of the day on a Minecraft server. It creates a simple incentive to return regularly, while keeping the reward experience quick and automatic.

Server administrators can customize the reward pool in gifts.yml, including item IDs, quantities, roll chances, and distribution methods such as linear, normal, exponential, or inverse exponential. The plugin also provides administrative commands to give a gift again or reset a player’s gift date.
