AntiJoinBot is an older Bukkit plugin designed to protect a Minecraft server from automated join attacks and proxy based connections. It can check visitor IP addresses against downloadable blacklists, detect suspected proxies, and block them before they disrupt the server.
The plugin supports SQLite or MySQL storage, offline mode names, online mode UUIDs, optional checks from the server list screen, and a forced reconnect verification. Configuration can be reloaded with commands, while trusted IP addresses may be added to a whitelist. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a historical protection tool for compatible legacy servers, with features that may require careful testing today.
