3D Skin Layers for Minecraft Java

3D Skin Layers is a visual, client side mod that transforms the normally flat second layer of a player skin into a detailed 3D model. Jackets, sleeves, hats, glasses, visors, and other cosmetic elements gain visible depth, while player head items also receive enhanced rendering.

The mod automatically returns to vanilla 2D rendering beyond 12 blocks to help preserve performance in busy areas. Compatible with Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt, it works entirely on the client, so no Minecraft server installation is required. At BoxToPlay, it is a simple way to make every multiplayer adventure more expressive.
