NetherPortalFix is a utility mod for Minecraft Java Edition that corrects confusing portal links in multiplayer. In vanilla gameplay, the 8:1 coordinate ratio can send players returning from the Nether to another nearby Overworld portal, sometimes even another player’s base.

The mod remembers which portal each player used and guides them back to the corresponding destination, while preserving normal portal mechanics and distance scaling. Designed for a Minecraft server experience, it works server side and also supports singleplayer, with versions for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.
