Orechid Expansion, modded ores for Botania

Orechid Expansion is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition 1.20.1 that extends Botania’s Orechid and Orechid Ignem, allowing them to create ores from supported mods. It adds compatibility for Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Ad Astra, Tinkers’ Construct, Thermal Series, Just Stargate Mod, and Powah 1.1.

The datapack adjusts each ore’s chance to reflect its natural rarity and avoids duplicate outputs when several supported mods overlap. This gives a modded Minecraft server a more coherent mana based resource loop, making Botania’s ore generation useful beyond vanilla materials. At BoxToPlay, we consider it a practical compatibility addition for technology and magic focused packs.
