No Free Deaths is a Minecraft Java datapack that stops keepInventory from turning death into a free teleport or hunger reset. When keepInventory is active, dying can reduce a player’s experience levels and make them respawn with a hunger penalty, while their items remain protected. It preserves convenience without removing the consequences of reckless decisions.
Built for a multiplayer Minecraft server, the datapack gives admins control over each penalty and lets them opt specific players out. Experience loss can be configured, while optional Curse of Vanishing handling and a health penalty provide extra flexibility. Our BoxToPlay experience makes it a useful choice for balanced survival gameplay.
