This lightweight Minecraft datapack adds a dedicated death score to your Java Edition world or server. It records how many times each player has died, making survival progress easy to follow during cooperative play, challenges, events, or competitive sessions.

The counter uses Minecraft’s scoreboard system and is designed to provide a clear, persistent statistic without changing combat, item drops, or other core mechanics. It supports Minecraft 1.21 series releases, including files listed for 1.21.11. For our BoxToPlay community, it offers a practical way to add accountability and friendly rivalry to a Minecraft server, whether players are testing intense survival rules or comparing their performance.
