Craftable Soul Sand is a lightweight Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that adds a survival friendly recipe for soul sand. Instead of searching the Nether for this useful block, players can combine four sand blocks with one ghast tear at a crafting table. The recipe gives sand and ghast tears a practical new purpose while making soul sand available earlier in progression.
Once crafted, soul sand can be used for soul campfires, soul fire, bubble columns, and other Nether related builds. It is a simple utility addition for any Minecraft server, and our BoxToPlay team recommends it for survival gameplay that feels more flexible without changing the rest of vanilla mechanics.
