Chainmail Armor Crafting is a Minecraft Java datapack that adds four recipes for making the complete chainmail armor set with vanilla chains. Formerly known as Craft Me Chainmail Armor, it fills a missing crafting option while keeping the experience close to survival Minecraft. The datapack works in single player and on a Minecraft server, making chainmail more accessible without introducing custom items.
From Minecraft 1.20.5 onward, crafted pieces become the Sturdy variant, offering slightly more protection than iron and placing the full set between iron and diamond equipment.
