Chat Formatter is a Java plugin for Bukkit, Paper, Purpur, and Spigot servers that replaces plain chat with a configurable layout. It lets administrators combine player names, messages, colors, and decorative elements, while using LuckPerms prefixes and suffixes to display ranks naturally.

With PlaceholderAPI support, formats can also show dynamic data supplied by other server plugins. Color codes can be enabled for authorized players, and the configuration can be refreshed with its reload command.
