The virus Minecraft datapack

The virus adds a spreading infection to Minecraft Java Edition, gradually changing the survival experience on a Minecraft server. It first develops among mobs, whose sneezing can transmit the disease, before players become vulnerable. As the infection progresses, affected players receive random custom effects that may hinder survival, such as burning in sunlight, taking damage in water, or being unable to eat normal food. Yet the virus can also offer benefits, including vampirism that restores hunger after a kill and friendly undead mobs. Rabbit stew, golden apples, golden carrots, and enchanted golden apples provide different levels of healing. BoxToPlay makes this unpredictable challenge easy to enjoy with friends.
