Capes is a free Spigot plugin that adds decorative capes to a Minecraft server without requiring client side mods. Players can turn banners into wearable capes with commands such as /cape and /cape hand, or use a customizable GUI. Administrators can add named designs and manage access through permissions. Capes work with teleportation and respawning, can drop when a player dies, and have almost no hitbox, so they do not interfere with building or armor. Optional cape physics create movement inspired by Minecon capes, while the developer API supports custom integrations. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a fun cosmetic feature for rewards, donor perks, and server identity.
