HoneyPot, honeypot griefer traps for Minecraft servers

HoneyPot is a Java server plugin that uses bait blocks to identify players who try to damage protected areas. Staff can turn attractive, valuable blocks into discreet traps, creating a simple way to detect suspicious behavior without affecting normal building and survival gameplay.

When a player breaks a honeypot, the action can be logged, administrators can receive an alert, and configurable punishments such as a kick or ban may be applied. The block can also be replaced so the trap is ready again. At BoxToPlay, we see HoneyPot as a useful complement to protection and rollback plugins, not a complete replacement for them.
