Giant Caves, enormous underground spaces

Giant Caves is a Bukkit plugin that transforms Minecraft world generation by creating exceptionally large underground caves. It uses Perlin noise, initialized from the world seed, so each generated world receives its own distinctive cave layout. The result is a more dramatic subterranean environment, suited to exploration, mining, hidden bases, and large underground builds.

Implemented as a block populator, the plugin works with the vanilla generator and is designed to cooperate with many generators using the chunk generator pattern. Caves appear only in newly generated chunks, making it especially useful when starting a fresh Minecraft server.
