Custom Join Items is an abandoned Bukkit plugin designed to give players personalized items when they join a Minecraft server. It was mainly intended for lobbies, hubs, and informational setups, where a compass, book, or another item could provide quick access to server features.

Its configuration supported custom names, lore, item data values, inventory slots, and options controlling whether items returned after respawn, could be dropped, or appeared only on a player’s first join. The project’s last listed release was version 1.5.2 for Minecraft 1.9, published on March 8, 2016. We at BoxToPlay recommend treating it as legacy content for older servers rather than relying on it for modern networks.
