ChunkUp is a Bukkit plugin that keeps selected chunks loaded, even when no player is nearby. It helps redstone circuits, command blocks, and minecart routes continue operating across distant areas. Players can mark chunks manually, add optional descriptions, or use follow mode to mark every chunk crossed during a journey. The plugin also provides chunk lists, information commands, permissions, ownership controls, and configurable refresh behavior. Released for older Minecraft server versions, it supports Bukkit and PaperSpigot, but not standard Spigot. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it mainly for legacy technical servers, since loading many chunks can affect performance.
