Better Mob AI is a Spigot plugin that replaces standard mob intelligence to make combat more unpredictable and demanding on a Minecraft server. It introduces stronger, special, and sometimes random attacks, giving each creature a more distinctive fighting style. Giants can pin players down, wither skeletons may launch skulls or blades, while ghasts and blazes gain rapid, fiery, or multi projectile attacks.
Its configuration lets server owners select affected worlds and mobs, then enable, disable, or customize individual attacks. Alpha 3.0.1 is documented as tested with Minecraft 1.15, while older releases target versions from 1.8.1 to 1.11. For a tougher survival experience, the BoxToPlay team recommends monitoring simultaneous battles, since advanced AI can require additional resources.
