PersonalMOTD, personalized Minecraft server messages

PersonalMOTD is a Bukkit plugin that gives each player a more personal view of a Minecraft server’s MOTD, the message displayed in the multiplayer server list. After a player has connected once, the plugin can recognize the associated IP and replace the %name% placeholder with that player’s name.

Administrators can configure several public MOTDs for random rotation, create a custom message for a specific player, and add color codes with the ampersand format. PersonalMOTD supports YAML or MySQL storage and includes a reload command, making it a simple personalization tool for server communities. BoxToPlay makes this experience easy to manage.
