Ambient Fireflies for Minecraft

Ambient Fireflies is a server side datapack for Minecraft Java Edition that enriches nighttime landscapes with gentle firefly particles. They appear after dark in swamp and mangrove swamp biomes, creating a warmer, more natural atmosphere without adding creatures, items, or complex mechanics.

The pack supports several custom biome ecosystems, including Terralith and Biomes O’ Plenty, while configurable functions let you adjust particle amount, movement speed, and display area.
