Distantly Optimized is a lightweight Minecraft 1.21.11 modpack built around Distant Horizons, designed to push render distance while keeping gameplay smooth on a Minecraft server or in solo worlds. It combines Distant Horizons 2, a beta of Iris shaders and optimized client mods so you can enjoy vast views with stable performance.

The pack uses Tectonic terrain generation for dramatic mountains, valleys and coastlines while staying close to vanilla blocks. Focused on visuals and performance rather than complex progression, it fits exploration oriented worlds and shared builds.
