NBTLib, an NBT library for Minecraft servers

NBTLib is a historical Bukkit developer tool that simplifies the creation, reading, and modification of Minecraft NBT data. It also offers controlled access to Minecraft and CraftBukkit internals without directly importing unstable internal classes, helping plugins remain less dependent on implementation details and reducing update related breakage.

Designed for plugin developers rather than end users, NBTLib is useful for custom items, entity data, and advanced server mechanics. Its main limitation is the need to handle numerous exceptions.
