Backbone is a Bukkit Minecraft server plugin that turns custom maps into fast team based PvP battlefields. Players queue through commands or signs, receive a snowball gun and diamond sword, then fight for five minutes while trying to eliminate the opposing team.

Every kill awards one team point and 100 personal kill points, which can be spent on upgrades in the Backbone Store. With support for up to five arenas, timed matches, automatic teleportation, and optional colored nametags through TagAPI, it adds a lively arcade mode to classic servers, including Minecraft 1.8.1.
