playerAnimator is a Minecraft Java mod and developer library that lets other mods animate the player with keyframe based movements. It works as an underlying animation system rather than adding content on its own, making it useful for emotes, combat actions, abilities, and immersive character behavior.

Its layered animation stack uses priorities, blending, and fade transitions to help several animations coexist with fewer conflicts. Developers can animate the head, torso, arms, legs, and full body, load compatible animation data, and optionally use bendy lib for bending effects. On a modded Minecraft server, BoxToPlay helps include this dependency in experiences that need richer player movement.
