Better WorldBorder is a Minecraft datapack that transforms the built in world border into a central survival mechanic. Instead of remaining a distant limit, the border grows as players survive and complete advancements, making exploration and progression directly influence the size of the playable area.

Normal mode expands every two survival days, with larger rewards over time, while Hardcore mode grants daily growth and makes death end the run. Death also shrinks the border in Normal mode, and a timer HUD announces changes. Advancement rewards, instant death beyond the boundary, and a rare reset item add tension to any Minecraft server.
