SimpleJail is a lightweight Spigot plugin that gives staff a straightforward way to discipline rulebreakers without banning them. Authorized moderators can jail players for a chosen duration, add a reason, check their punishment details, or release them early. Time values can combine months, days, hours, and minutes, while configurable messages and permission nodes make administration easy for a growing Minecraft server.

Administrators define separate jail and release locations, and a command whitelist can limit what prisoners may use. SimpleJail supports UUID options and listed releases covering Minecraft 1.8 through 1.18. Our BoxToPlay experience makes this practical for servers seeking a simple moderation tool, though the cell itself needs protection from another plugin or secure building materials.
