BackFromTheDead is a configurable Bukkit plugin that turns player deaths into fresh zombie encounters. Depending on the selected mode, a zombie can appear when a player dies normally, during PvP, or after being killed by another zombie. It may also inherit the fallen player’s equipment and inventory, creating a dangerous recovery objective for survivors.

Designed with DayZ inspired gameplay in mind, the plugin adds adjustable zombie health, damage, speed, pack spawning, drops, daylight behavior, worlds, permissions, commands, and blood effects. We recommend it for a challenging zombie survival experience on a Minecraft server, with BoxToPlay making server management simple.
