Unproductive Bees is a utility datapack for Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 that rebalances Productive Bees by making automated honeycomb processing far less generous. Centrifuge recipes now give only a 1% chance of obtaining honeycomb materials, while most liquids, except honey, are reduced to 1 millibucket per processed honeycomb. The pack also removes duplicated Create recipes and adjusts support for several technology and magic mods. It keeps bees useful as a passive resource, without letting them replace mining or progression. For our Minecraft server at BoxToPlay, it creates a slower, more balanced resource economy.
