Better Combat, classic PvP for Minecraft servers
Better Combat is a Java plugin for Spigot servers that adjusts the combat introduced in Minecraft 1.9, bringing its feel closer to the fast, familiar PvP of versions 1.7 and 1.8. It removes attack speed limitations and restores sword blocking while attacking, creating more responsive exchanges for duels, factions, and minigames.
The plugin also improves fishing rod behavior, corrects weapon damage and player regeneration, and offers configuration options for tailoring the experience. Designed for Minecraft 1.9 through 1.12, it helps our BoxToPlay team provide a recognizable combat style on a Minecraft server running a newer version.
