PlayerAbilityLib is a lightweight Fabric and Quilt library for Minecraft mods that modify player abilities. Rather than adding content of its own, it provides a shared system for abilities such as flight, allowing several mods to work together without overwriting one another’s changes.

Its server side API records which mod grants or revokes each ability, making behavior more reliable in modpacks and on a multiplayer Minecraft server. It is especially useful for flight charms, jetpacks, magic effects, and similar features. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it as a quiet but valuable compatibility layer when supported by other mods.
