MonsterBox, customizable mob spawners

MonsterBox is a Bukkit plugin that lets a Minecraft server change the creature assigned to a mob spawner. Administrators and authorized players can use the /mbox set command, spawn eggs, or an optional Spout interface to select supported creatures, while /mbox get reveals the current type.

Its configuration offers permission controls, pricing for individual mobs or groups through Vault economy support, optional Silk Touch requirements, and matching spawn egg drops. The plugin supports native creatures available to the server version, including guardians, endermites, and rabbits in release 1.2 for Minecraft 1.8.1. We present MonsterBox on BoxToPlay as a practical tool for custom farms and balanced server gameplay.
