Overgrown’s Origins: Improved Inchling is a Minecraft Java datapack for the Origins mod that reimagines the tiny Inchling origin for exploration and survival. It gives players a miniature body, rapid movement, wall climbing, immunity to thorns and cobweb slowdowns, a brief glide, and silent movement that avoids sculk sensors. Inchlings can also ride players or other entities, creating unusual travel and teamwork options.

Its strengths come with meaningful limits: sugar provides a powerful speed boost but can cause negative effects, while heavy armor slows movement. Reduced health, increased damage taken, weaker swimming, and slower mining keep the origin balanced. On a Minecraft server, our BoxToPlay team sees it as a lively choice for agile, stealthy gameplay.
