Shield Expansion is a Java Edition mod that turns shields into more active and versatile combat tools. It introduces several material tiers, enchantment support, shield attributes, and configurable behavior, giving players more meaningful defensive choices on a Minecraft server.

Its main feature is parrying: raise your shield just before an attack lands to bypass the off guard cooldown, knock back melee attackers, or deflect projectiles. Regular blocks can trigger a cooldown, encouraging better timing and movement, while higher tier shields improve parry bash strength.
