Super Enchants, enhanced vanilla enchantments

Super Enchants is a Minecraft Java datapack that changes how enchanted books and anvils work. Throw two enchanted books onto an anvil to merge them, increasing an enchantment by one level when both books match. You can also throw a book and an enchantable item together to apply the enchantment without spending experience levels.

Nearly every vanilla enchantment can exceed its usual survival cap, while normally incompatible effects can be combined, such as Infinity with Mending or multiple Protection types. A configuration menu lets you adjust maximum levels. On a Minecraft server, our BoxToPlay experience makes this powerful progression easy to enjoy.
